Contracting Deals in Commerce Interface
When a deal has been submitted, (see “How to Create Deal” & “How to Submit a deal”) Groupon will then review the deal internally. If the deal is accepted, the deal will move to “Pending Vendor Approval” status. Upon the status change, an email will be generated to inform the User(s) the “Option To Purchase” contract needs to be reviewed and either accepted or rejected.
Once the User logs into the deal, the main deal page will show. The User is then prompted to click “continue.”
The “Option To Purchase” contract will be displayed with all terms and conditions.
Example:
The contract displays the following: Fulfillment Method, Freight Allowance, Discount Allowance, Freight Terms, Payment Terms, Ship From Location, UPCs, Number of Units, Gross Extended Price, Discount Allowance dollars, Freight Allowance Dollars, Net Extended Price, and Currency.
** If a deal runs as Drop Ship (Vendor Account) the shipping costs provided on the deal will be reflected in the total Unit Price listed on the contract. **
After reviewing terms and conditions, the user may “Accept” or “Reject” the contract.
